1. Standard — 4 zones

A working summer kitchen splits into: 1) Grill area — 3-4 m², charcoal or gas; 2) Hearth (tandir) — 2-3 m², bread and shashlik; 3) Work zone — 4-6 m², stainless steel, sink, tools; 4) Dining — 12-18 m², table for 6-10.

2. Grill — 3 types

1) Charcoal — 200-800 AZN, best flavour, smoky; 2) Gas (Weber, Napoleon) — 1,200-3,500 AZN, clean, quick; 3) Electric — 350-1,200 AZN, apartment-style, weaker flavour. Country default — charcoal + gas combo.

3. Materials — heat and wind

Durable summer kitchen on Absheron: flooring — travertine, cement stone, Buzovna sandstone (200-450 AZN/m²); worktop — 304 stainless (300-600 AZN/m²), granite (500-900 AZN/m²); cabinets — aluminium + HPL (500-1,200 AZN/m). Wood — only thermo or WPC.

4. Utilities

Water — from house 12-25 m (200-500 AZN); electric — 220V + 380V for electric grill and fridge (400-800 AZN); gas — from mains if connected (300-700 AZN); drain with grease trap (250-500 AZN). Total 1,150-2,500 AZN.

5. Roof — pergola or enclosed

1) Pergola — open top, cascading plants or auto-louvres, 25-40 m² — 2,800-6,500 AZN, summer-autumn use; 2) Enclosed — walls + roof, year-round, 6,500-14,000 AZN. In Absheron wind, pergola needs a glass windbreak.
